IKFace Edge Customer Portal and Demo Terms
Version: 2026-07-31.1
Effective date: 31 July 2026
1. Provider, scope and acceptance
The Customer Portal and IKFace Edge demo are provided by Tecnologías IP LTDA., Chilean tax ID (RUT) 76.013.135-0, with registered address at Av. Del Valle Sur 662 Of. 401, trading as INFOKRAUSE.
The portal is strictly business-to-business. By creating an account, the user represents that they may act for the registered company and accepts these terms. Marketing consent is separate and optional.
2. Account and company
Users must provide accurate information, keep it current and protect their credentials. A company may authorise multiple users and appliances. INFOKRAUSE may request reasonable information to verify identity, company, authority, security or eligibility.
The account must not be used to impersonate others, bypass controls, obtain repeated demos, test vulnerabilities without authorisation or conduct unlawful activity.
3. Demo request and approval
Registration does not automatically grant a demo. INFOKRAUSE may approve, reject or request further information. Unless expressly confirmed, each company is eligible for one initial demo for one installation.
The 30-day period begins when License Manager confirms the first successful Managed Appliance activation, not upon registration, download or ENR delivery. A failure before activation may be retried from the same technical identity without creating another trial. Reinstallation or artificial identity changes do not grant a new demo.
4. ENR, download and installation
The ENR and associated link are company-specific, temporary, traceable and revocable. They must not be published or shared outside authorised personnel. INFOKRAUSE may revoke them in response to risk, abuse, error or an administrative request.
IKFace Edge must be installed on a dedicated physical or virtual machine compatible with Ubuntu Server 24.04 LTS and the published requirements. The user is responsible for backups, compatibility checks and securing the machine, network and credentials.
5. Licence and restrictions
The demo grants a limited, revocable, non-exclusive, non-transferable and non-sublicensable right to evaluate IKFace Edge for the authorised period. It does not permit commercial production use unless agreed in writing.
Users must not copy, redistribute or publish packages or credentials; bypass licensing; alter identifiers to obtain another demo; decompile or reverse engineer except where mandatory law permits; or use the service to infringe rights or laws.
Available capacity, modules and analytics are those stated in the issued licence. Continued use after the demo requires a commercial licence.
6. Customer data and responsibilities
The customer controls the configuration and data processed on its appliance, including images or biometric data. The customer is responsible for the legal basis, notices, safeguards, permissions and policies applicable to that processing. The portal does not ordinarily receive images or biometric templates as part of enrolment and licensing.
7. Availability, support and changes
The demo is supplied for evaluation, as is and as available. It may include preliminary functions, maintenance and changes for security or stability. INFOKRAUSE does not guarantee continuity, uninterrupted availability or fitness for a particular purpose.
Support is provided through the published channels. Production service levels, warranties and commercial terms require a separate agreement.
8. Suspension and termination
INFOKRAUSE may suspend or revoke an account, ENR or demo for breach, fraud, security risk, legal requirement or harmful use. Where reasonable, INFOKRAUSE will explain the reason and allow it to be remedied.
Users may stop using the demo and request account closure, subject to the privacy notice. On termination, the right to use the demo ends and packages, credentials and unauthorised copies must be deleted. Provisions on ownership, liability and evidence survive where applicable.
9. Intellectual property and confidentiality
IKFace, IKFace Edge, the software, documentation, trademarks and associated materials belong to their respective owners. These terms do not transfer intellectual property.
Users must protect as confidential all ENRs, credentials, non-public packages and technical information identified as restricted.
10. Warranties and liability
The demo does not replace the customer's technical, legal or security review or backups. To the fullest extent permitted by law, implied warranties and liability for indirect loss, lost profits, interruption, data loss or consequences of using or being unable to use the demo are excluded.
INFOKRAUSE's liability is limited to proven direct loss and to the maximum extent permitted by applicable law. Nothing limits liability that the law does not permit to be excluded, including liability for fraud or gross negligence where applicable.
11. Governing law and disputes
These terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Chile. The parties will try in good faith to resolve disputes for 30 days after notice. If no agreement is reached, disputes are submitted to the competent courts of Santiago, Chile, without prejudice to mandatory rights.
12. Changes
Changes will be published with a new version and effective date. Material changes may require renewed acceptance. We retain the version accepted by each user as evidence.
